Hannah Montana, or to use her real name, Miley Cyrus has become a international marvel. As a teenage superstar she has taken the entertainment world by storm and has captured the hearts of her fans.
She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on November 23rd 1992 as Destiny Hope Cyrus. She was called Smiley for the reason that she smiled a lot and this transformed into Miley. Later on, she legally changed her name to Miley.
She is known for portaying Hannah Montana in the TV show of the same name, she began acting in her father’s TV show “Doc” as Kylie.
When she was twelve, she auditioned for the part of Hannah Montana and was told she was too small for the character! Later though, Disney changed their decision and she was given the role.
Miley naturally has a very strong southern accent, which she worked for a long time to lose. Ironically, the producers of Hannah Montana asked her to use her natural accent for the show.
Miley has become a international superstar over the last couple of years, with albums debuting at number one on the Billboard Top 200. She has had a lot acting jobs, her own big screen movies and has developed a loyal following over the earth.
If you have a daughter aged between five and their mid teens will be aware of Hannah Montana and probably be fed up of hearing her songs.
