In order to support Cyrus’ then newly launched, joint apparel line with Max Azria, sold exclusively by Wal-Mart stores, this EP was chosen for release.

It shows Miley is getting better and maturing as a performer, even though she’s perhaps not the most technically accomplished singer. This 7 track CD has a good range of songs from “Kicking And Screaming” which is fun and up beat to the slower “Obsessed” and perhaps the best song on the album, “When I Look At You”.

The song “Talk Is Cheap” has very adult themes and some parents may not be happy with their children listening to this, but then Miley is growing up and trying to appeal to a broader audience.

Two singles were released from The Time of Our Lives. The lead single, “Party in the U.S.A.”, became Cyrus’ best-selling effort to date, peaking at number two in the Billboard Hot 100. It also became one of the best-selling singles in the United States and Hollywood Records’ best- and fastest-selling single. The second and final single released from the EP was “When I Look at You”. It was used to promote the 2010 film The Last Song, which Cyrus starred in. Unable to match “Party in the U.S.A.”‘s success, the single appeared in the top twenty of charts in Australia and the United States.

Hannah Montana TV Show – Season 1 300x240 Hannah Montana TV Show Season 1The first season of the television series Hannah Montana was aired on Disney Channel from March 24, 2006 to March 30, 2007 and included 26 episodes. It introduces the five main characters of the series and Miley Stewart’s situation of living a secret double life as a teen pop star. The season also introduces several significant recurring characters such as Roxy, Jake Ryan, and Rico.

The season’s soundtrack was released on October 24, 2006 under the title Hannah Montana. The season itself was released on DVD as a four disc set on November 18, 2008 by Disney DVD. Certain individual episodes had been released earlier on other Hannah Montana DVDs.

Characters:

Miley: She doubles as a pop star, Hannah Montana! Not always being able to hang out with friends, she makes up for it in limos, premieres, and celebrity sightings! Miley tries to avoid the press and her screaming fans. She can use her pop star ability against others sometimes…

Oliver: This cool, crazy, Casanova of Seaview Middle School is in love with Hannah Montana and worships her. He may always be just Oliver. He goes to any lengths to see Hannah including sneaking into her dressing room, getting in her drum, and going in through the limo roof! Oliver is Miley’s friend.

Lilly: Lilly is the loud, energetic friend of Miley. She enjoys all of the fun that being a pop star’s friend brings. Though she still needs to adapt to being backstage, Hannah is there to keep her in line. Lilly is Miley’s friend.

Jackson: He may be the craziest one. Asking dad for money, impressing girls, (or at least trying) and doing everything the hard way is what he is all about. He is Miley’s brother.

Robbie: Miley’s dad has to be the dad and the mom of the family which includes cleaning and discipline. But along with that, Robbie also tries to spend some time with the kids and be the cool parent. Robbie is also Hannah’s manager.
